Bio

 

Tess McArdle was born in Summit, New Jersey, and spent her childhood years in Madrid, Spain. She traveled extensively throughout Europe and became bilingual in Spanish. She studied at Parson’s School of Design and received her B.F.A. at the University of New Mexico. After studying Textile Design at Parson’s, she pursued a professional career in New York City as a textile designer which led to trend and color forecasting, company direction as well as visual merchandising and display for the fashion and home furnishings Industry. She returned to New Mexico and lives in Santa Fe where she continues to work on a series of Sumi ink paintings.
